My insurance paid for mine. If you have any contributing medical conditions caused from your weight problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes, back pain, knee pain, leg swelling, hip pain, high cholesterol, asthma, or basically list any ailments you have when you go to the weight loss Doctor for your surgical evaluation for weight loss surgery. Your weight loss surgeon will document and send in all your ailments caused from your weight to your insurance company and most insurance companies will usually pay for the surgery. I did have a deductable to pay of about 600.00 and most Doctors will let you pay your deductable in payments but some doctors want the deductable paid up front before your surgery. If you don't have the money for the deductable then sell some stuff to raise the money for your deductable. Just another way to maybe help some people get their weight loss surgery if you have insurance. I was able to go to a doctor in the U.S. that way too because I'm not sure insurance would pay for a Dr in Mexico to do the surgery.
I got lucky. My insurance paid all of mine except for $270. I am six weeks out and have lost 30 pounds
Hi Erin. You hit home with the de- cluttering. I’ve been telling my husband that I can’t stand the house clutter anymore and we need to de-clutter. After watching you, I realize that I also need to de- clutter my life… the mental clutter is a big burden. I am having revision surgery in 2 weeks— sleeve to RNY, due to Barrett’s Esophagus. You’re videos are hitting home, and are the path I want to be on! And I’ll gratefully accept any prayers for a successful surgery!! 🙏🏻

I can't remember which video(s) I've heard you say it in, but within this last week I watched another one of your videos where you talked about you don't eat food that's not a level 8 or above and your body is not a dumpster. I don't know why but that resonated SO much with me. So much so that I decided to take on that same standard. It really helped change my mind about eating intentionally (still trying to get through that book, I find it a slow read for me) and the CHOICES I make. I may be hungry, but it's my choice what I choose to put in my mouth to aleviate that hunger. My VSG was 5/20/20, I'm down 38 lbs. I watch your videos regularly and they're very helpful. Thanks!!

That sounds so much like I felt when I was with my ex husband. I did not want to be home, I would eat so much fast food, etc. Now I’m in such a good place, and feel in a good headspace and feel like VSG is the route for me. I want so many things in life and babies is top of that list. I have PCOS and it is such a struggle to lose any weight. I love your videos and I’m so happy I found your channel!
