  1. I had 40km/week + 5 hrs/week of gym for 6 years straight, 10 % fat, ate a LOT

  2. Since I posted earlier, this is what I think to get a swimmers body: (1) weighted calisthenics focused on back. I use gymnastics rings. (2) lots of kick sets with fins. I do at least 500 yds of kick with 200-300 tombstone sprints, dolphin underwater, rotational kick sets (3) lots of IM sprints. I do 1000yds of IM sprints almost every workout. (4) paddles on back stroke. Rotate, anchor, pull β†’ Lats and core.

  3. Just came back from the pool, looking into techniques, then this comes up – only clicked on it because of Katinka πŸ™‚ love her.

  4. Great video Fares, recently I just got back into swimming as it’s summer in Australia, but I feel like I’ve strained my rotator cuff. Flexibility and Strength training is vital!

  5. Want to start swimming soon, I'm recovering from a stomach hernia from gym work, so hoping swimming will achieve some goals, need to strengthen my core

  6. Generaly i think Athletic Greens is a good product , but i canceled my order , i have in every bag a plastic " portion spoon " witch i dont need …so with every bag , i have plastic to kick away for even
more plastic rubish mountains in the world ….actually not necessary !!!
That is for me a big negativ point for a product with the name green on it …!!! Athletic Greens should change that and let this plastic item away !!!

  7. I swim 2 times a week
    Since I'm only 14 and
Everytime I swim I feel well
My shoulder muscles are strong even my back muscles
I feel more flexible I can move very easily
And my lungs are so Healthy
I appreciate god for all of this πŸ™‚

  8. Swimmers have great bodys however the best in the sporting world has got to go to gymnasts

  9. After leading a sedentary life for the last 15 years, I've started swimming daily for the last seven months.

My BMI dropped from 41 to 30.
I've lost 36Kg (5.67 stones). I'm 41 yrs old and I have again the weight from when I was 25.

    My resting heart rate improved.
I stopped snoring and improved my sleep (I get more rest from 5 hours of sleep than before from 7-8 hours).

I wake up very early in the morning at 05:00 am and don't struggle going to sleep in the evening.

I get on time to work and I'm more energetic.

I'm a better husband and father.

Also, I'm an inspiration to my colleagues and my patients.

And, most important, I've managed to avoid any more suicidal thoughts. When I feel really low, I spend more time in the swimming pool and put more energy into it. Ending with a very sore whole body is a more acceptable way of self harm, it's not permanent and it has benefits in the long run. It definitely helped me in my grieving process following a painful separation πŸ’”

  10. I’m 60 and have been swimming for years now.
I do a 50 length non stop sessions, 4 times every 6 days,,( due to working long hours ).
    Is this enough?
It sure does make you feel great πŸ˜‰

  11. Totally chilled and happier than after any other sport I do. That's weights or running or walking. I think its the child like enjoyment of a water environment and those endorphins flooding my brain in the horizontal plane of swimming.

  12. I've been swimming since I was a child, and I do so every opportunity I get. There is a great deal of not only mental clarity, but peacefulness in the water which helps with anxiety. There is, for me, at least- no greater relaxing or physical exercise that even compares. Or, perhaps I've met my ShangriLa in swimming.

  13. solid video thank you for having this available. Swimming for me is by far my favorite sport. I always loved swimming and it came to save me when I was brutally injured in a contruction accident. Without swimming I would this be way back in terms of recuperation. Now that I am sort of back to a normal young man's body there is still no feeling like swimming. Impossible to get as much benefits by far from ANY other sports. I feel amazing and without swimming I would be much less well in my life, as I still cannot use my legs to run or play normal sports. Only downside is you need a pool, sea or lake haha. M from Montreal Canada.

  14. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son for whosoever believe in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

  15. If I’m mad at my boyfriend, before talking to him, I go for a swim and feel amazing. This literally saves my relationships.

  16. Wow this is absolutely incredible. Thank you for adding so much value here

  17. Every time when I feel bad I just go to swim and it gives a full boost for a whole day

  18. ❀❀❀ I love these Whiteboard Wednesdays!
And I feel happy after I swim; and I feel strength and wellness in my body.

  19. I always feel energised and am quite confused wondering how and why πŸ˜‚
