  1. My weight loss stopped after 3 months. I really strictly measure every bite of food and drink that goes into my mouth. I eat about 1450 calories which is just slightly over my BMR. I have thyroid issues for few years and I know I have correct amount of medication, it was checked recently, I regurally visit my doctor. I've already lost over 15 kg (I started with BMI 31 now I have BMI 26, so there is still enough fat to loose especially as I don't exercise and don't have a lot of muscle mass). So how is it possible that I stopped loosing weight while I'm really very strict with my diet and recount my calories every week based on current weight?

  2. The plateau where you picked that word sounds beautiful. In the disease there are the words crisis, ie, the rise of the disease, the decline of the disease and remission, weakening or decline. Those. the process of motion sickness or recovery. The geographical designation of the plateau (fr. Plateau, from plat – "flat") is an elevated plain with a flat or wavy, weakly divided surface, bounded by distinct ledges from the adjacent plain spaces of the earth's surface. The plateau does not move because it is a plane. displacement due to shifting tectonic plates. We are constantly on it on the plateau. It does not rise or fall. I didn't get it. you have confused medicine and geography. There is a name for stable remission. Reconvalescence is a healing process. normal life of the body after illness. Stable (lat. Equilibrium) state of health. Didn't try to repeat the geography textbook

the geographic society may sue you for illegal use of the plateau geographic designation

  3. She doesn't want to apply to the Nobel Committee for a medal in medicine on the new concept of PLATO. I want to laugh.

  4. I have hit weight loss plateau after 9 months, now it's been more than 3 months I still can't lose weight

  5. I notice I’m not losing weight but I’m looking slimmer then I notice I’m gaining muscles

  6. I haven't been exercising or getting enough sleep because I'm stressed and trying to fit studying for class. This summer I'm not taking any classes and solely focusing on exercising and resistance training. I'm eating 1200 cals a day. I've been experiencing plateau for a couple months. Was 189 lbs june 2020 now I'm 157 lbs june 2021. But I've been plateauing since january 2021 from 155-158 lbs. Do you think my plan for summer will work if I stick to 1200 cals/day. I'm 5'4" female age 31 y.o. Thank you.

  7. I took an entire year to lose from 65kg to 55kg and now I’m plateaued 😭 I still have around 5-7 more kg to lose 😭

  8. I started at 386 and chucked about 30 lbs over 5 months. I’m wanting to average 8-12 lbs per month because I’m heavy enough that I burn a ton of calories with activity and have been good about keeping my calorie intake to about 1800-2100 calories per day on average Mon-Fri. I use my Apple Watch to attempt 1,250 activity calories burned per day or more so in theory with my BMR being around 2,900 calories per day I should be losing 2-3 lbs per week. I had been losing 2-2.8 lbs per week for the most part most weeks but suddenly am looking at 0.2-0.4 lbs per week.

I’m wondering if I need that diet break but I went through this before years ago and lost 100 lbs over 5.5 months. I’m 35 now and was 25 then so maybe that has something to do with it. I plan to integrate more weight training to help overcome the potential plateau but will look to change my diet to a holding pattern for 1-2 weeks before resuming my current process. Curious to see how that changes things.

  9. Can it be bad for your weight loss goals if you enjoy eating less calories all the time but have hit a plateau? I started a diet end of June & I lost pounds & feel great but I still have 15 to loose & I’ve stopped loosing but I can’t go down with my calories because I’m already mostly fasting

  10. This was extremely helpful! Thank you so much for posting this… You've given me a lot to think about and a lot of tools to get past my plateau.

  11. I’m in a plateau myself the last few weeks. I’m trying to be patient and not panic but my overthinking mind is not helping any.
