I was doing better low carb when I went Ketovore and added tons of fat The weight piled back on and then some 😢
can the two be combined? like start keto to kick off fat loss then switch to protein?

Loving rice so much, I‘d feel miserable if I don‘t get to eat rice. I can eat less of it, but I can‘t a big meal without it.
Can’t handle the music in the background, it’s annoying and over powers you.
I did keto over 7 years, went from size 14 to 2! it works, but I kept falling off, it is too restrictive! I never gained back my total wt , I landed on size 6. Seems like every spring I struggle get it back down! I don’t want to live like that any more. I read up on P:E diet. I now do high protein, low carb, low fat! It feels more natural and healthy! I do a protein shake for breakfast, adding some blueberries and frozen broccoli and avocado, and have an apple for a snack. I feel like a lot of green veggies, a couple low glycemic fruits. I FEEL BETTER ABOUT MYSELF
I love low carb and keto it helps mixing it up I was on vacation and I went on low carb diet I stayed on 100g carbs and 25 grams of sugar for a week, because it help me lose the vacation weight I gain ..I lost 5 pounds

Keto hurt my liver and wrecked my cholesterol. And that was clean keto. I'm currently doing low carb, low fat with the guidance of a dietitian. I'm a few days in and I am starting to feel a bit better
You’ll automatically be on low carb on keto anyway near impossible to eat 0g carbs but if you eat under 50g net you’re within keto
I have to stay under 10 grams of carbs. I am Insulin resistant so I gotta watch it big time.

I think for me personally I do keto to low carb. Low carb helps me when I am lifting weights 2x a week and the other 4 days I focus more on keto. I still give myself a day to eat something sweet but I make it healthier for me because I do notice the process junk causes much inflammation in my body. I’ve lost a total of 30-40lbs since Jan 2025 and still would like to drop another 25. But from Jan-May I wasn’t exercising it was strictly keto and but now I do low carb/keto and I am incorporating exercises and HIIT strength training twice a week and it works for me. I wish I knew how to post a before photo and where I am at now. You can see the difference in my face. But all in all I have been following your channel and FB page and love your recipes. I'm under five too and hardly anybody will speak that people under five too should not do intermittent fasting because our metabolisms are completely different. Everybody wants to treat the situation as if all heights are created the same or both sexes but we're not. People under five two should never fast for weight loss. Now I fast for prayer because to me that's real fasting but I spent many years fasting and not for weight loss and I can tell you I turned around and I tried doing it for weight loss never ever did it ever help me until I met a specialist who told me that

At 72, I am totally ok with loosing weight slowly. I have 24 pounds left to reach my goal. I have lost 7 pounds in 9 weeks😊
Low carb, zero sugar and high animal fats is so much easier to maintain than keto.
I'm like you, keto is too restrictive and it just feels wrong to eat all that fat. Lean protein is where it's at, with vegies. But I lose the most weight when I completely cut out all bread and pasta and sugar and basically anything that turns into sugar in the bloodstream. Also, water is a big deal. I found a water that I love and it has improved my health overall. After years of yo -yo diets, what I'm looking to do this time is make a life change that I can live with from here on out and keto is not that for me personally.
