Leafy green vegetables like spinach, kale, etc are very low carb and have plenty of nutrients. Broccoli, cauliflower and capsicums (bell peppers) are slightly higher but still within the keto range. Many nuts and berries are also keto if not eaten excessively. There is no reason why you can't still get fibre and nutrients on a keto diet.
I'm about 6 weeks into a fairly strict keto diet (targeting 20 grams of carbs per day). It has significantly improved my symptoms of treatment resistant major depression. I've lost about 20 lbs, and my LDL cholesterol has improved. It's not an easy diet, but going back to being a depressed and immobile just isn't an option.

It's the processed foods that we consume that is the problem. Once you stop eating these things you feel so much better and will lose weight.

I was on keto for 8 months dropped a lot of weight. I am going back on keto and adding alternate day fasting.I remember just being very calm on this diet I think without the sugars it helped my dopamine receptor sensitivity I remember life being very 🌞 bright.

Last year I started keto diet for 3 months
Cause I have psoriasis ( skin sickness )
And I was noticed to this removing carb and sugar ( no difference between white sugar or natural sweeteners)
May help me to recover my skin and symptoms .
Already loosing 20 kg in 3 mounts and having a shiny skin on my face , no acne
And no darkness in armpits or private parts of my body….
I’m getting ready again to having this life style for all of my life

It worked wonders for me. Realy surprised me. Indeed, everyone is different. So, no guarantees.
The two biggest motivators are fear of death and pain. I had cancer and I have pain (tingling in my feet). This motivated me to go keto. I was diabetic, but now my A1C is 4.6 (non diabetic)! I'm able to stick to eating keto, I don't want to go back to insulin shots!
Lol, it's not hard at all once you figure out what you can eat and what to avoid. My wife and I have been eating keto for over 3 years with nothing but positive results to show for it. Along with the 50 pounds each that we lost all of our inflammation is gone and it didn't take very long to achieve these things either, I'm talking about 2 to 3 months. Even my wife's life long asthma disappeared but that took about a year. She was so shocked because she always had it and even had to do nightly breathing treatments. I'm talking 35 years worth of inhalers and nightly breathing treatments gone! Best thing we have ever done health wise. Remember you're not counting calories you're counting carbs. So go ahead and try to over eat but if you're doing it correctly, you probably won't be able too. Healthy Fats sustains!
Well keto Diet. Crazy people. Country side people been eating like this for ages.. I grew on natural butter flinch(similar to. Panceta) my advise is. Eat everything. Humans are omnivores… So eat normal.
