I've been on zoloft for 4 years .I've 100% know that zoloft makes me gain weight .im gonna try this low carb diet .
What do you typically drop your carb amount to per day? Also how much protein and fats do you eat with the low carb?
Thanks!
Totally agree. Thanks for the advice
Hello, thanks for the video it gives me hope that I can achieve the same on Zoloft. You said in a comment you aim to keep it under 20g carbs per day – is this essentially the ketogenic diet then?
Thank you!
Amanda
Can you do a "What I eat in a day" video please?
wow this is good to now. It is a known fact that taking anti depressants cause weight gain, but doctors don't always have all the answers a we can see from your story. I chose my weight journey over my mental health and have been suffering since then. I was on a weight loss journey when my doctor diagnosed me with depression, and i never took the medication because i was so afraid it would interfere with my weight loss journey. However i am on a very low carb diet , so i am wondering if the medication would have an effect on my weight, but i am so afraid of trying it… I am menopausal and i am having such a hard time losing weight… i am eating around 600-700 calories a day and still my weight is coming off so slowly…
Hey , thank you for explaining this in your video. Your hypothesis is 100% true. I've been reading a lot into neurotransmitters and the reuptake of Serotonin does effect metabolic health. It affects appetite regulation and mitigates stored glucose from carbohydrates to be used as fuel. I just read that your diet has 20grams of Carbs, which is considered Keto. I wonder if this would work with "low" carb, as in under 100?
Hello! I am on Prozac and also notice weight gain. Before taking Prozac I was able to eat whatever I want and I stayed pretty this. Now, I realize that’s not really the case. I am going to try this diet and hope it will help like it did for you. Would you be able to make a video of what you eat on this diet? And also, how long did it take for you to then start shedding the pounds once you started the low carb?
You are 100% correct
Okay I’m going to try this. I’ve gotten to the point where I cry every night because of this Prozac weight gain. I’m the heaviest I’ve been in my life at 165 lbs and I’m miserable. I was 125 before 😢
