  11. This dog has lost a hundred pounds in a year, maybe two, all willingly and with the happiest personality. Some people have difficulties losing five pounds a month, and they get so discouraged they can't even leave their house. I wonder what we could achieve if we all had the determination and support that Kai had.

  27. Why do people do this to animals? This was not a result of being a stray. I see so many dogs that are overweight, and it breaks my heart to think of the health problems that they must have

    This video reminds me of my friend who has a cat. He equated love with feeding on demand, and unsurprisingly, the cat became fat. I tried to tell him what he was doing, but even when the cat could no longer jump up to a window to look out, he would not accept it.

    He went away on a long business trip, and I volunteered to look after the cat. Immediately, the cat was on a diet. Six weeks later, he was active and jumping on to the furniture.

    My friend was horrified by his "skinny" cat, and was not happy with me. However, a couple of days later, he phoned to apologise to me because he had seen how happy the cat was.

    Thankfully, my friend has learned his lesson, and his cat is still an appropriate weight, active, and happy.

  28. Some people show their love for their pets by over feeding them and giving extra snacks. This is actually a form of abuse. Overweight dogs are miserable just like humans and have so many extra health problems. Show love through spending quality time with them, walking them or extra cuddles, snuggles and kisses. ❤

    My dog is only 5 pounds over weight and it’s slowly coming off.. dang this dog lost 50 in 8 months..

  38. That is the most beautiful ham I have ever seen. Very unhealthy though, don't treat your pets this way.
