  1. It is so much more complicated than "calorie deficit" and this has been proven by modern research. You need to start reading some research papers again.

  2. I used to be 280 pounds then i went on a low carb diet and once i was done i was at 170 pounds then over tike i gained all the weight back and went on the diet again and i got to 160

  3. Your incorrect also because Dr Fung and others have proven calorie deficit only works short term. Your body adapts and slows your metabolism down to compensate for it this you stop losing weight

  4. Studies show more weight loss with low carb diet as compared to extreme low carb or high fat or general recommended healthy diet. I forget if it was a year long or 6 month study but definitely time to see any initial big weight loss seen from the water weight loss

  6. I eat a lot of carbs and protein and fat and I’m in shape. Just go to the gym and work hard and eat 2g of protein per kg. That’s all you need.

  8. This is nonsense. Low carb keto is the way forward. I’ve lost 210lbs following very low carb eating

  9. Sry dude but that is bullshit. There are mant reasons to go low carb. 1 insulin lvls (especially if you are diabetic or prediabetic) you get with the less sugar also a sense of how hungry or full you are way more accurate and you start overeating less and less. If you dont cut out the carbs it becomes more a fight or flight situation where your body will scream at you and stop you from losing fat faster. Carbs are the reason you might be less activ less happy less energy mentally and physically over all since todays food almost all have carbs and most of those foods promote inflammation. Inflammation also effects your body significantly. Also ir isnt proven that less carbs mean less weight look at the carnivote diät people they eat partially 4k kcal and still lose weight. Thermodynamics are real but its absolutely 100% the hormons and the fuel quality you add to your body that is important.

  10. man, I've tried it all – 6 meals a day with brown rice, chicken and broccoli and tones of exercise (worked pretty well but a pain in the butt and boring), vegan (sucked arse), but keto/carnivore is the most sustainable for me cause I basically don't get super hungry and it's simple – BUT it took a good few weeks before I stopped feeling crap and having massive cravings. Main thing is no sugar and regular exercise, and it doesn't have to be super strenuous, just regular.

    If you eat same calories on high carbs, with someone who's eating same calories from much Protein, he'll lose fat faster than you. Why? A more tangible portion of calories from protein, is exhausted in breaking down protein, compared to carbohydrates, which is easily broken down, with less calories
