I'm 56years old and I been pretty lean all my life I have 9.5 percent body fat and still have a little fat around my stomach but I'm all natural and still look 95 percent better than my age group

At this point in life, I'd be happy with gut and love handles. I don't need to be shredded
All I heard was give up
I was 5’8” 179lbs with 170 lbs lean body mass. 5% body fat, and I still wasn’t completely shredded. I had abs but still a little fat on the lowest part of the abs. I stuck that out for about two weeks and then eventually went back to 10%. It’s very difficult to get shredded and was not very enjoyable for me. And I didn’t have any reason to do that. It makes sense if you are doing some kinda contest prep or something. 10% body fat is fine for health and I don’t care what i look like.

I look in the mirror and if I stand back and look at my overall body I am happy. My problem is that's not what I do. I look straight at the worst point and obsess over that. I understand that I shouldn't and I want to be happy where I am because I'm no bodybuilder or fitness influencer, I'm more of a functional athlete but that little imperfection is right in the forefront of my mind. I think fixing my mind is what I need to do and watching content like this (not this video, this one is good) is causing me to be like this. I needed it years ago when losing the 80lbs I needed to lose and pitting back on the 20lbs of muscle but I think the time has come to move on. Thanks for this.
