  4. Great video! I have so much anxiety and fatigue around eating, counting cals and weighing that I would actually PREFER to drink 2 shakes a day and only plan for 1 meal with my family, without having to do any crazy restrictions!

  5. I love the simplicity of slimfast. But not enough calories lol but easier then fasting.

  6. Both ways work if you work it! Problem with calorie counting is it’s so easy to start guessing or decide at the last minute to change your meal plan. I too have done both but feel for me the discipline of meal replacements keeps me both on plan plus doesn’t allow me to have some junk food of equivalent calories that have poor nutrition in them. It’s the high protein lower carb that stops food cravings for me plus once I’ve spent actual money on meal replacement shakes I tend to not swerve. Horses for courses? If calorie counting is the answer for all of us we would be our slender best selves without any need for props like Slimfast. Loved the honesty of your video xx

Just bought into slimfast, Started today and I was starving, found your utube and downloaded said app, will try the counting from tomoz onwards, you put it across so well, you have shown me its not rocket science. wife is doing her WW so will be interesting to see the results.     Me personally, I’ve always lost more weight when exercising and eating more net calories than calorie counting or slim fast or whatever restrictive diet on its own. Ive been on 1500 calories for months and havent lost any. (I had lost a ton after having my third baby, in my mid 30s got in the best shape of my life after feeling like i always failed). Had some stress and life changes, stopped exercising and packed 20 pounds back on in a few months or less. When i was working out and burning like 300 or so per day and eating 2000 i lost weight a lot faster. I was also building muscle and still losing fat AND pounds. 10 pant sizes in under a year.

    I feel the reason for my plateau is old mindset when i was building lots of muscle, i felt like i could eat whatever i wanted and not gain weight (fat). That mentality is hard to shake if you dont keep up with the training. You’ll put weight on so fast doing that. Its a combination and a balance. Has to be a permanent lifestyle change.

    Something i do notice is, when i did lose the most weight, i never ever deprived myself. I also didnt fully undulge or lose control. If someone brought cake to work, id cut the tiniest little piece and have a bite. And never shamed myself. I didnt do it often, unless it was like when i left my job and someone made me a cake. I couldn’t be rude. I ate a tiny piece and it was really really good. I was polite and complimented her on the cake and thanked her but I didn’t indulge. I also logged it and moved forward. I feel like thats SO important. Forgiving yourself and believing you can make a change.

    I noticed you ate that chicken alfredo pasta at the end of the slim fast day. It seemed like a deprivation meal. Like a reward with food. Whereas on non slim fast plan you ate a much more balanced lighter and healthier dinner.

    Food is going to be the best option. Cause when you come off slim fast then what? You cant eat slim fast forever. And if you go back to food and have no information or practice with food, you’ll just eat bad stuff cause you haven’t developed a taste for healthy food yet and go right back to rebounding.

  10. SlimFast is only meant as a quick fix diet. One shouldn't be on it for longer than 3 months. In fact you will eventually get sick of it anyway. It needs dedication to stay with it. It does work though. I lost nearly 6lbs on it last week down to 241lbs now(trying to burn the fat I gained over Xmas/new year) Probably will do it for another 4 weeks. Yeah, you do crave food towards the end of the day on it, you are always thinking about dinner. What I like about this diet is you can still eat chocolate and still lose weight. I used to be over 23 stones three years ago. Now just above 17 stones. Need to lose another 4 or 5 stones.
