  6. This is a good little reality check- just discovered you today! I’ve cut from ~27% BF @ 290 (was a college lineman) down to ~13-14% @ 215 in 2 years, really trying not to lose my strength and taking it gradual. The last two months I’ve been pretty frustrated trying to dial in the last few pounds to hit around 10%. When I was really heavy, I could lose weight by just eating when I felt like it (as opposed to force feeding to maintain weight). Haven’t really restricted my diet to anything extreme- time to kick it up a notch!

  11. This video was very helpful for me today! I've been dropping weight since last February. Initially, my scale estimated my bodyfat% too low and it set up false expectations for me of how much weight I needed to lose. I went from 230 to 190 and hit my initial goal weight in 9 months. I then realized I still needed to lose another 15-20 pounds and now I've started plateauing 11 months into this journey. This video touched on many things I'm dealing with including being too emotionally tied to the daily number on the scale and getting discouraged. Very helpful advice and framing. And yes, it's definitely a long-term path, not a short-term sprint.
