  1. I packed on 60 pounds binge drinking and got a vitamin B1 deficiency along the way. You gotta factor in all the crap you eat after 15-20 drinks. Lots of fast food aka carbs.

  2. I drinking alcohol every day but I did still lose weight from 100kg now 85 kg in 3 months..

  3. Alcohol slows down your body from burning calories by 75%. Want to gain as least weight as possible while drinking? Either drink a little less or don’t eat food while drunk. It’ll just stack the amount of calories it takes for your body to burn. It takes 48 hours until your body is fully back to burning calories at 100% again.

  4. I went to doctor and got on scale and knew it would be high because I had three small bourbon drinks yesterday. I usually have 2. But my BMI is up and now to lose weight I have to eat 1600 calories per day, 1800 max, and that will be easier to go without my 2 bourbons that add up to 280 calories or more. Thanks for this video.

  5. Every time I quit drinking for a month or so I literally gain weight… It's total bullshit so I keep drinking.

Also, guy got his science wrong… Alcohol is broken down in the liver by a group of enzymes called, "Alcohol dehydrogenase" (long story on human evolution and how we ended up with this enzyme), which allows us to not die from drinking alcohol. First the ethanol is converted into Acetaldehyde (he incorrectly stated it was broken down it was only broken down into acetate). Acetaldehyde IS the toxic chemical to your body, it is wildly more harmful to your body than alcohol and is more than likely the reason for horrible feelings like hangovers. Acetaldehyde is then finally broken down into acetate which is harmless to you and is naturally excreted.

Being an alcoholic sometimes leads you to learn very interesting chemistry and biochemical reactions.

  6. This guy doesn’t look like he should be approaching topics of fitness, video games maybe. He’s just trying to sell.

  7. So, according to that theory, someone could create a calorie deficit through dietary restriction and exercise of -2000 calories a day, but drink one glass of whiskey before bed, which would block fat loss for 10-48 hours, and do that every day for a year, without ever losing a kg or lb of weight? I call bullshit.

  8. Whenever some eejit starts to dismiss the laws of thermodynamics, just walk away.

  9. lol if you're gonna drink don't eat. If you're gonna eat, don't drink! so funny/sad but true. Ugh… I need to reset my whole life.

  10. I stopped drinking wine four months ago. I was drinking two bottles of wine per week. I’ve lost 1 stone 7 pounds. No change to my diet, just ditched the booze!

  11. I tip the scales at 255 pounds and probably should lose weight…but I love the beer too much 😆

  12. Another excellent video. Many thanks. I still at the early stages of my journey. Luck has it I have a physical job so the weight shoudl start dropping off soon. I am also looking into joining a gym. Thanks again for all your work and content.

  13. 6months clean i had one slip where i had one just one beer after a death of friend but i’m holding strong now.

  14. Skipping breakfast altogether was the key for me. A great step towards 16/8 fasting. It may not be for everyone but it’s worth a try.

  15. Probably contrary to most people, when I stopped drinking almost 2 years ago, I started to put weight on. I believe I’m filling the void with something else? I’ve also started the menopause, so that too could be adding to the situation. Regardless, I have a constant battle with my weight, even though I’m active and do yoga daily and tennis twice a week. It is a challenge at the moment! 🥴

  16. Quit drinking.
    Lay off Carbohydrates
    Lay off Sugar
    Eat Only Meat and Vegetables
    Fasting
    Get more water and Electrolytes

edit : reducing Inflammation through your diet and Quitting drinking will Greatly Help you.

  18. It's tough to get rid of a beer belly. Healthy diet, lifting, some cardio I think…. Maybe some vitamins/gut cleansers etc…. Alcohol is SHIT. So glad I quit.
