  2. i love these men and women. so educated and helpful. as someone who wants to start eating healthy foods, it's refreshing finding advice from real registered and learned individuals who understand science and respect it! Instead of 90% of content online these days where it's advice and takes that are not rigorously scientific and usually made up by gym bros and their "ancedotes"

  3. So, to correct the fallacy of not eating for a while and then eating or as she said over eat. Then the correction of this process would to learn to eat responsible and not over eat and to eat the appropriate healthy foods.

  4. To correct the fool who said eating at night wont affect weight loss. Duh…eating at night will affect weight gain. Eating at night and not using that food/fuel as energy and going to sleep will cause that food energy to go into storage because it is not being used for fuel.

  5. Eat healthy carbs appropriately in comparison to the amount of energy you use and need to perform daily tasks. Dont eat carbs or a lot of carbs if you are not active and are more likely to sit on the couch and watch tv for 2 or more hours. Think about it, how much energy to you need when sitting down watching tv. Remember, any food/fuel that you are not using as energy will end up being stored in your fat cells.

  6. Intermittent fasting…how ever you choose to eat, in order not to gain weight and or lose weight, you must eat responsible. So, the overall take away is responsible eating and self discipline within the eating process.
    This presentation would be more efficient emphasizing self discipline within the eating process and responsible eating habits and lifestyles.

  10. My first aha Finally get it with weightloss when overweight/obese was True caloric need. That If I’m Very overweight and tall 1000 calories might be half or Even just a third of what my body would need for a day just laying in bed. That classic If you are woman you should need about 1500 and If you cut 500 a day from that you’ll Loose a pound or possibly a kilo per week… No wonder I was just too hungry to stick with toooo low calories.
    It is far too easy just To say Eat less move more, but hey eat How much less?

  11. Hey – guys you’re missing the point on carbs, keto, and fasting, The best carbs are leafy green vegetables 🥬 because they are even more nutrient dense than your beloved banana . The healthiest keto diets tell you to eat 7-10 cups of leafy greens, preferably cruciferous greens, with the fat and protein. Responsible keto advocates promote healthy fats so that you’re not eating those high heat toxic fats like Canola. The purpose of fats is to satiate hunger. Then you do moderate amounts of protein. As for fasting, that’s a fantastic way to control weight and reap health benefits: autophagy, human growth hormone, stem cell production. The autophagy has been shown in many studies to clean up proteins and starve cancer. In fact, that fewer carbs you eat (sugar breakdown) the better your body fights: cancer, insulin resistance, inflammation, and dementia. Also, fasting helps you reset your homeostasis for weight. I did keto and fasting (OMAD up to 4 day fasting) for all of 2021 and lost 30kg, brought down insulin levels, greatly reduced arthritis, decreased fibroids (which kept me on 2-3 week long periods) by about 75%, got rid of right neck and shoulder pain (referred pain from a fatty liver), reduced my resting pulse from 80 to 65, and reversed hypertension. I used to eat a “healthy vegetarian” diet with whole wheat pasta, legumes, and fruit and slowly gained weight over the years. A banana is better than cake, but arugula is a far superior carb. The cake is poison. A banana is a special treat. Arugula is what you want to eat daily.

  12. Never met a Dietitian who ever had a problem with obesity they don't understand it. Low carb is the only diet that ever worked for me. Rice, Potato's, breads all that even just eating tiny amount gain weight.
