  1. I am a newly (2/2/22) diagnosed type 2 diabetic. I was started on Ozempic 0.25mg weekly for 4 weeks and then the dosage was increased to to 0.5mg weekly. In 2 months I have lost 16 lbs. I was also given a continuous (Dexcom) glucose monitor that reads my sugar levels every 5 minutes. With that device I have been able to see how different foods affect those levels. My experience has shown me that if I want to keep those numbers down (and lose weight) I need to keep my carbohydrates down to a minimum. No sugar, rice, or starch products for sure. My sugars hover between 90 to 100 and do not spike. Prior to this, they were 250! Amazing medication and amazing results with the low carb approach. I hope this helps other to control their diabetes and also to lose weight.

  2. After a grueling year of diet with phentermine I told my Dr. I wanted the Gastric Sleeve, she said she wanted me to try this one last thing. So here I am researching the meds.. Hhhh Fingers Crossed..
