Unpopulair opinion but if you want to continue staying strong, cardio isn’t gonna do that for you. Cardio trains your heart, and the weight loss u get from it is only temporary

I love how you know YOU… like how the exercise will affect your body… knowing your basic needs and improvising with the exercise. It is amazing how your tips and tricks would not be as accurate as the trainers in my gym. But I have this vibe that tells me that I went through the same thing… and I do believe you… so thank you so much. Atleast I know I’m doing what my body needs and nobody can tell me not to ….unless I’m not informed on the topic.

I feel like I’ve ruined my metabolism but I’m scared that if I try something like reverse dieting I’ll just gain a bunch of weight when my goal really is to lose my fat. I train taekwondo and bjj everyday and have done for almost two years but I have noticed that I gain really easily. When she said she ate between 2000-2500 calories I feel so jealous lol cause I don’t go over 1600 :’). I need to talk to someone who really knows about all of this lol.

I’m older (48 yo) and not exactly the same body but I’m happy about the way I look and the journey I’m in. I want progress meaning increase the weighs I use (I started at 1kg, now it’s rather 2 or 3 kg) and have more muscles meaning a toned body and being able to do push ups 😜
Very helpful. I have been wanting to just tone my body since I have a bunch of health conditions which makes eating painful and some physical movements painful. This reminded me it should be enjoyable not stressful and try to better my body. Happy with my body and how it looks, just wanna feel better about its physical capabilities.
HIIT is also terrible for your cortisol levels, which will mess up your sugar metabolism in the long run.
Also, what you describe is not at all what progressive overload is.
