  1. I think that Keto is relevant at first hand if you are Insulin resitent, because in that case carbs want do it for, I think that Keto if not being magic, is magical in it's way of reversing insulin resistens and helping people reverse serious conditions because of insulin resistens.
if you are a healthy youg male sport enthusiest I would say go for carbs, but be sure that you use up what you use for energy.

  2. That’s not true at all. You lose way more fat on keto diet.

  3. The benefits of keto + intermittent fasting with autophagy is actually the reason to be on keto for life.

  4. the main thing about keto is that it's (at least i found it to be) super sustainable. strength dipped in the gym a bit, but if you're a gear user, it's a good time to come out of a cruise. blast and keto will up your strength a bit while you're dropping mad weight.

people who do permanent keto are psychos though. this is a mid-term diet. think 6 weeks to 6 months.

  5. He foegot about higher base metabolism increase. low carbohydrates>low insulin>increese in Glucagon. glucogon inhibits lipogensis. Marked rise in your endocrine system, adrenal gland ramps up. Just to name a few things
Calories in/out still applies, but your not going to maximize anything by eating high glycemic index/load foods. Like at all

  6. but many other youtubers Doctor says otherwise…. so who is the real BS????

  7. Being in a caloric deficit is king. Focusing on that will give you the best results. Focusing on the types of foods that fill you up also works great. I
just dropped 50 pounds with the help of your channel. Thank you Mike

  8. I would like to see a proper study on the efficiency of the utilization of different calorie sources namely carb and fat. There must be some difference because eventually your body is running on sugar, so when you eat any carbs your body turns them into this blood sugar carb (glycogen) and when you dont eat carbs (on keto) your metabolism still produce sugar for your body and brain using fat and ketones. But this second process must have a lower efficiency because you have to reconstruct the whole molecule and crate a very different material, so it must have a bigger cost as opposed to the carb to carb method. It means that if the keto process has a 10% less efficiency then you can eat 10% more and still keeping the same caloric balance. Never seen any article on this.

  9. I hate, hate, hate "dieting" with traditional calorie restriction. I lost 56lbs on keto six years ago and I've kept it off. I think my body is very well adapted to being extremely satisfied with protein and fat. As long as I can have my cheese, chicken, butter, eggs and endless vegetable, I'm satisfied! That said, it's not for forever. It's a tool in my toolbox.

  10. Just drink one Diet Coke a day and you can eat anything you want and still lose weight!

  11. Im on a very low cal diet. 1300 im a big guy.. i dont do well mentally on 1300 cals non keto.. 1300 cals on keto im pretty clear minded vs low cal only. If i go 1300 cals on just low cal. Its hard to get all my nutriets. Vit d,calcium, and my protein is low. With no fats and iron.. on keto. I can make it work pretty easily. Every 4 days i est some liver that keeps my iron deficiency at bay. And i hit decent protein goal. 130 ish. I just feel and maybe im wrong that for super low cal keot works better and being a bigger guy with alot of fat stores does that help?

  12. I'm not convinced. I used keto to break through a plateau and weight was steadily coming off. Got off keto, same calorie deficit, ate a balanced diet, weight loss ground to a halt. Even started to creep back up a tiny bit.

So what the hell. Going back on keto now and I'll see how it changes again.

  13. What about people who are pre-diabetic? I would venture to say that all calories are not the same for them.

  14. I think everyone is different eating keto/ protien works for some and not for others. I follow keto/protien along with fasting OMAD. Keto/protien retards my hunger, in fact I'm disinterested in food. Like most that have commented eating carbs is like crack thus cereal/oatmeal in the morning Ill end up eating all day because of sugar spikes and then sugar low a an endless cycle thus eating more calories gaining fat.

  15. I LOVE KETO, LOST 40 pounds in 7 weeks, I DONT FEEL hungry. I do miss the bread sometimes, but I miss my honey buns a lot. KETO is Simple, and it works for me
