I need to lose 30 kgs which is 60 something pounds.
I have PCOS. I’ve struggled with my weight all my life. I was an obese kid. I lost weight when I became an adult by developing an eating disorder. I was eating less than 1000 calories a day and over exercising. It was great to finally feel fit, but it took a ton of my energy just to maintain an average weight. I unfortunately gained it all back when I was super stressed after transferring from my community college to my university. I kept gaining and stayed obese for years after graduating college. Then, when I finally moved far away from my family that was stressing me out, out of state, I was finally able to focus on my health again. Lost all the weight again and fit back into my old favorite clothes from my young adult community college days. I was also really happy in this period of my life because everything was looking up. Well, when my family decided to follow me and move to my new state, I started gaining a lot of weight again by being around their bad influence. And of course when Covid happened, it’s been a really stressful last four years. Despite all my efforts of trying to lose weight again, by eating healthy and exercising regularly, it’s been really hard to see any sustainable change on the scale. Basically, not enough people factor in how stress can really make or break your weight loss efforts. Cortisol can be a real b and loves to hang onto every little pound. Sleep also plays a huge role. And hormones affect everything more than we even know. Especially with PCOS, losing weight is not always as simple as “calories in, calories out.” It is actually a whole mind/body effort.
Omg I'm Costa too lolll
Is that safe?
This motivates me to keep going. At my heaviest I was 182lbs now I’m 170(5’9”). Hopefully I will reach 130-135 by the end of this year🙏🏼
