She mentions DIM supplements, which are great and has been included in my supplement combo in the past. This is a great video . The older I got I noticed I became more and more food intolerant.
I did the bone broth diet and it was awesome ! But also very hard to stick to it and there’s a lot of meal prepping . I feel like stress is a big factor as well !!

Great video. I can totally relate. I have gone through the same thing and menopause to boot and it's hell! Being so hot all the time is the worst and makes it so hard to exercise. But if there's a will there's a way and I'm doing something similar to your way. I'm working out, too; probably not enough but in LA it's so hot now at the end of July. #Readyforchange!

You said there’s sugar foods in the house and other people like them so you can’t get rid of them. But you should, sugar isn’t good for anyone!! It’s a killer.

This video spoke to me!! Thank you for posting. Your journey is almost exactly like mine and I'm at the figuring out stage. This gave me some hope and ideas to help. Also I love how you really focused more of the whole process on feeling good in your body. There are way too many articles and videos pointing at women telling us to just "eat less, move more" which I think is really condescending and overly simplified. Your approach makes me feel really heard. I loved this so much..Thank you
Thank you! At 49 and post-hysterectomy, I’m at a loss on how my body suddenly rebelled against me. I’ve always had a pretty consistent shape & weight (even after 4 kids) until the surgery this past Feb. I can’t fit into anything anymore even though I bought a size up for summer. I hate photos of me – which everyone takes full-body. UGH! I can’t stand the thought of paying a weight-loss “guru” for something that shouldn’t be a “secret” so I came searching on YouTube and found this video. Last night I had a breakdown after I saw a photo posted of me. I’m making a plan today and your advice sounds like it may work for me. My oldest daughter is getting married in August and dress shopping is in January. I need to feel better about myself. I’ll post results as they come. Thanks in advance!

For me sweets for sure and If I start my day with sweets like muffin or banana bread . The whole day is ruined. Sweet and bad food all day ughh
I’m 44 and I never have had to worry about weight, but I have gained about 10lbs in 2.5yrs and no matter what I do it won’t come off.. I started weight lifting in Jan and I’m sure some of the weight gain is from muscle. But I’ve always had a belly and weight on hips and butt! I’m at my wits end 😢
What did your breakfasts look like?
If I cut our bread, I have nothing for lunch. I’m very fussy so it has to be a sandwich. I’m sure 2 slices of bread a day isn’t my issue 🤔
