Thank you! Currently 2 weeks pp and breastfeeding. I’m curious if you can tell me if there is a max amount of tofu/tempeh/edamame that can be consumed. I’m nervous about the estrogen levels but I’m also eating a pescatarian diet and want to get enough protein while mercury is limited.
Thank you thank you! I needed to hear this so badly! Been feeling very stressed and depressed about not losing hardly any weight since having my 4th baby 10 months ago. I don’t fit most of my clothes and I still look 4/5 months pregnant. I’m still trying to finish the 12 week PPP. I mostly eat meals from your mommy cookbook and I love them, you have given me some amazing tools I just need to stay positive and keep my chin up! Please keep the informative & motivating videos coming 🫶🏻
I will want to come back to this comment in the future and I hope it helps others too!
Here are the foods Ashley recommends to balance out hormones:
– dark leafy greens (at least 1-2 cups per day)
– garlic & onions
– walnuts & almonds
– beans (chickpeas, black beans, pinto beans, lentils)
– sweet potatoes & butternut squash
– berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries)
– free range eggs
– free range, grass fed beef
– whole wheat bread
– oatmeal
You Are The Best!!!! you're soooo audible!! you were able to deliver this information without it being attack-ish or judgey ~ you spoke the truth in love & sisterhood Amen!!!! And girl AND i was absolutely blown away by the fack that you give your daughter Black babydolls to play with!!!! Now that is true anti-racism, God Bless you honey 🙌!!
Thank you Ashley, I love how you are always so honest, so supportive of mothers and women and so full of information ❤ currently 9 months PP with baby number two and I'm trying to lose the baby weight – about to do 4th parkrun!
Thank you so much Ashley for sharing your knowledge and passion regarding these issues. They truly are helpful.
Can you in any way shed more light on your knowledge of hormones and approaching exercise in light of adrenal fatigue. Any bit of your knowledge or opinion regarding this is greatly appreciated!
14 months pp with 5th baby….. I am on the struggle bus with figuring out what and how much to eat. Macros set high, then my brain saus oh that's too much, so I drop them. Mentally frustrated. Baby is still nursing on demand. Eating little bits here and there. How do I figure out how much my body needs? Thank you for blessing us all with the knowledge you have! 🙏
Hi Ashly , thank you for your helping videos . Is it necessary to drink milk for breakfast feed moms ?
I lost all the weight really quickly after my 2 pregnancies so I honestly don't eat very healthy… I need to get back in the game. I struggle with rebuilding my muscles after my c-section and I have horrible back pain.
Thank you for the validation that women need nutrition and healing foods before they focus on dropping weight. I had to wean my baby at 8 mos for my own medical reasons and now he’s 9 mos. I am ready to start losing weight that I tend to gain while nursing. Thanks for the great tips!
Ashley is one of the online trainers in this YT I always look after. Be it if I am pregnant, post partum or even wanna up my muscle, she is among the best.
I knew her since she started very small community to the larger one, nowadays.
I bought her lean fast capable plan and also her mom cok book. All I can see, her works are superb!
Thanks for always giving the best in any of the works be it in YT or your program and cook book.
Love,
asd
*Currently using your free 8mins plan for my fasting month
Thanks Ashley! I’m 15 months postpartum and only nursing my baby once or twice a day now. I have muscle from your great plans but still a lot more body fat than I’d like. Would it be okay to drop to 1800-2000 calories a day? I’m on the 10 minute plan.
You know your stuff! Thank you. 5 days til my c section.
So so good quick and concise I loved it! Thank you Ashley. I jumped on your channel the end of my pregnancy and am following postpartum. You’re awesome, God bless you to keep up the great work encouraging us mamas!
Liked the hormone information. Thanks x
Low income families can’t afford to eat healthy
This video was not what I was looking for but exactly what I needed! Sometimes we put too much pressure on ourselves to go against our health, and our bodies and our baby’s needs, in the hopes of looking like we’re just like those “other moms” who can just “bounce back so easily”.
Thank you for the encouragement and helpful information
I love how you educate and explain everything. It’s import that people know what you are talking about. As a veteran myself and mom of 4 just thank you for sharing your gift with us. You are appreciated
Oh man all of this is so true. I gained SO much weight after my son was born even though I EBF and pumped occasionally. The cravings and inability to feel full were sabotaging me.
I lost 40 pounds over ten months but my body fat REALLY wants to hold on.
Thank you for diving into the hormonal issues behind postpartum weightloss. It took me 4 babies before I REALLY understood that I needed to be patient with my body and focus on my baby instead of my looks. I needed to focus on recovering my strength and health, not my pre-pregnancy clothing size. It's a harsh world and I always had an imagine of what I should look like. I learned my baby doesn't care, my husband understands, and God created me in his image.
I had my baby boy 9/14/21 and so far I’ve lost 50 lbs +. I didn’t breast feed either. Still continuing my weight loss journey.
I'm not losing any weight because I like to eat.. 😹
Bull crap , been breastfeeding and didn’t lose a pound , not until I go on a diet.
Bullshit
I remember my wife getting chubs a little after pregnancy… She's making a big deal of it even though I find it sexy….

Ladies get your hormones checked ! If you’re doing everything right and not losing weight then it’s a hormone imbalance
Am breastfeeding my 8 months baby girl .. and I have gain 14 kgs whenever I start some kind of deit my brestmilk gets low and my baby do not take any bottle . Can anyone plss suggest a good diet to lose weight yet not get low on their brestmilk ….
I’ve lost 32 pounds breastfeeding, but I can’t loose my stomach/love handles! 😂
you forgot to mention how fricking hungry breastfeeding makes you :’)
After having my second baby I gained so much weight I’m depressed now. My daughter is three years old and the weight doesn’t want to go away 😢
Before giving birth, I’d heard that women who breastfed—shed weight quickly. That hasn’t been the case for me. I’m almost ten months into breastfeeding exclusively and have only lost a few pounds.
Nice information about pregnancy
Honestly I didn’t lose any weight until my daughter was around six or seven months. After she became mobile I found it incredibly hard to even keep on weight. Partly because she’s constantly trying to eat my food and partly because my child is very fast and I’m constantly just chasing her around all day. It’s the best weight loss plan though. I went from 207 to 155 in like 3 months and still losing lol.
Here before ive even given birth cos god knows im gna struggle😭😂
I can't compromise with food and loss weight because I can't stop eating…. I love chocolates, deep fries, cakes ,juices and lot amounts of lunch n dinner lol
Hey not getting enough sleep or disrupted sleep cycle is also a weight gain reason?????
After having my first baby it took me three years to lose weight. I lost 20 pounds in 8 months with out trying. Got pregnant shortly after and gained it all back. :/ now three months pp and the weight won’t budge
I am breastfeeding but I feel like this video was a bit harsh for people it may not work out for. Like this bot voice lady can chill 😂
I lose my weight horribly 😰I am not even able to sleep 😞
A real man can care for himself after his wife or partner has given birth….
